Tulku Nyima supports two overarching activities: 1) the Tromthar Community Development Foundation ("TCDF"); and 2) to assist in the development and rebuilding of rural Monasteries and Buddhist educational centers in and around Tromthar District.
TCDF is a US-based, non-profit foundation that supports educational and medical programming in Tromthar District and surrounding communities. To date, TCDF has purchased extensive school supplies for Tromthar Primary School, bought winter coats for each child in Tromthar Primary School, and made a sizable cash donation to Damtar Junior School (which is near Skimdut (see below)). TCDF is developing plans to build a medical clinic in Tromthar village, which will provide medical care and medicines on a sliding scale for the nomadic community around Tromthar village. TCDF's Website can be found at:

As part of his effort to support rural communities, Tulku Nyima built 41 Stupas in the remote village of Skimdut. This village is a long drive from the nearest paved road and has a long tradition of nomadic encampments in the area. The village is near a beautiful valley with a small river. The pictures below are of 41 Stupas in Skimdut.
